Hello, my name is Leslie Morales.  When I read this email I knew I had to respond. 

"My mother is the most helpful, patient, considerate, and calm person I know.  She never hesitates to help anyone in need, and by that, I mean anyone and everyone!  She works six days a week as a housekeeper, often cleaning two or even three houses a day.  She then comes home to take care of my intellectually disabled 19 year old brother and never complains about anything.  She was born in Guatemala and never made it past the seventh grade.  However, she is one of the most emotionally stable and intelligent people I know.  My mother made it to every single back to school night, parent conference, and awards ceremony throughout my schooling.  We were both crying when I graduated with my master's degree two years ago because we understood how tough it was to get there.  I hope that I can be as great of a mother to my son as she has been with me.  I owe my success, strength, and hapiness to her.
